Payment Polices Martsam Travel
Dear Sir / Madam,
Thank you for choosing Martsam Tour & Travel to assist you with your travel arrangements.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The following terms and conditions apply to all Tours organized by Martsam Tour & Travel.
For this purpose, the term “Tours” shall include all room accommodation bookings at hotels, resorts, excursions, tours, transfers, rentals, etc., that have been organized on your behalf by Martsam Travel.
Payment for Trip:
We do ask for deposits and we kindly request that payment is made in the following manner:
25% of the total cost of the booking is required at the time booking is confirmed. 100% of the total cost of the booking on or before 30 days prior to departure for Guatemalan tours and 45 days prior to departure for Belize and Honduras tours (This is so because some services require full payment to confirm booking).

Please confirm by fax or by e-mail the details of the wire transfer or bank deposit, amount sent and which trip the payment references.
Cancellations and Refunds:
If it becomes necessary for you to cancel your trip, the following fees will apply computed as of the date of receipt of written cancellation notice.
30 days or more prior to arrival:
All non refundable deposits, surcharges and deposits will be charged. A cancellation fee of 10% of the entire trip cost will be charged
30-15 days prior to arrival:
All non refundable deposits, surcharges and deposits will be charged. A cancellation fee of 25% of the entire trip cost will be charged
15 days or less:
All non refundable deposits, surcharges and deposits will be charged 100% of trip cost.
We are not responsible for changes which arise as a result of events outside of our control, such as technical or maintenance problems with transportation, changes imposed by re-scheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline, or main charter company, war or threat of war, civil strife, industrial disputes, natural disasters, bad weather or terrorist activity.
* We highly recommend that all clients purchase trip cancellation insurance.
It is a condition of the agreement between us that you take out adequate Vacation insurance against cancellation charges, unexpected curtailment of your vacation, medical expenses arising overseas including repatriation, loss or damage to luggage and personal liability claims against you.
Should you fail to secure such any of central American countries Travel Insurance coverage prior to your Travel, then you accept full responsibility for yourself and all of the members of your party, and indemnify Martsam Agency and representatives (as applicable) for any and all costs that may arise, which would otherwise have been met, had such Central America travel insurance been in force.
