Meet and greet at La Aurora International Airport and transfer to the City of Antigua Guatemala, (1 hour).

After breakfast, it is time for the trip to visit ruins, churches, galleries, and museums. Antigua was established in 1543 within the valley of Panchoy for Francisco de la Cueva, enclosed by spectacular volcanoes Water, Fuego, and Acatenango, silent guardians of the beautiful architectonic inheritance of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
Today early morning we are going to experience the multicolored market of Chichicastenango, in which the fragrance of incense plus the people’s mysticism guarantees an exceptional ambiance, dealing of costs handicrafts and textiles and also a visit to the cathedral with blended Mayan and Catholic traditions.
Chichicastenango is a marketplace that every Thursday and Sunday appears and disappears as one of the ancient commercial traditions of the Guatemalan highlands which now pleasures the visitors.
After the market, you will visit the Museum of Pascual Abaj which you will see all kind of masks that Maya dancers use for different type of celebrations.
Then transfer to Lake Atitlán for two nights lodging in Lake Atitlan
This morning you are going to have a scenic boat trip throughout Lake Atitlan (30min) towards the community of San Juan La Laguna where you could stop by the women’s textile cooperative to discover hand weaving and also the organic dye process.

After breakfast, you will board our minivan and head towards Yaxhá National Park. After a Yaxha Archaeological Tour, we will head towards the Belize border with a short break on the route for lunch; then we continue to our jungle lodge.

Transfer towards Actun Tunichil Muknal which is probably the most extraordinary caves system in the Maya Lowlands. Based in the center of the Belizean Jungle, this cavern had been a holy location to the ancient Maya of Belize.
Upon arrival, you will be outfitted with the necessary equipment for the Caving Adventure. During 3 hours climbing and caving will be essential activities you will enjoy.
You will be delighted with this fantastic cave which comprises of a cave system with many compartments, finishing in a 300 by 50-meter Cathedral where sacrificial ceremonies once took place.
Here it will be easy to journey to the Mayan past and experience a living museum in which the human sacrifices and artifacts will be displayed in their original context. Afterwards a fantastic drive towards pathway forward, a Forty-five minutes journey throughout the dense Rainforest within the Tapir Mountain Nature Reserve and go over three streams, discovering flora and fauna.
