    Day 1Arrival – San Salvador

    Welcome at the airport by one of our representatives, transfer to San Salvador City 49 Kms away (35 mins).

    Overnight at San Salvador. Optional: DiscoTour -visit the main bars and restaurants areas of SanSalvador (5hrs)

    Day 2City Tour

    Visit the main streets and monuments of San Salvador, the Historic City Center: The Metropolitan Cathedral, The National Palace and the National Theatre.

    Visit the Anthropology Museum. Then, transfer to the area of parks visit to the area parks (Planes de Renderos) (20 Kms) and La Puerta del Diablo, a natural rock formation with apanoramic view of San Vicente volcano and Lake Ilopango.

    Enjoy one of El Salvador most popular and delicious national dishes: the famous Salvadorian Pupusas.

    Overnight in San Salvador.

     

    Day 3Maya Route

    Visit the archaeological site Joya de Ceren (35 Kms), declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 1993. Later, visit the Ruins of San Andres.

    Lunch at the city of Santa Ana and scenic tour through the city: Santa Ana’s Gothic Cathedral and the Santa Ana’s Theater. Visit the archaeological site Casa blanca and Tazumal Ruins.

    Back to San Salvador

     

    Day 4Colonial Volcano Route

    Visit The Volcanoes National Park (75K ms approx.) and sight seeing of Cerro Verde, Izalco Volcano, Llamatepec Volcano and Coatepeque Lake. Then, visit the coffee mountains of El Salvador and the artisan towns of Apaneca, Ataco and Nahuizalco.

    Day 5 Cihuatan and Ecoturism La Palma

    The city of Cihuatan is the largest known archaeological site in El Salvador and has long remained Central Americas least known and most spectacular treasure. Its name means Place of women and has one of the greatest historic ball games found in the country.

    Later, transfer to the mountains of Chalatenango in the north of the country visit the artisan village of La Palma, where you can watch the craftsmen of the place, hand paint typical crays of the area with designs by the famous Salvadorean painter Fernando Llort.

    Overnight at La Palma. Night free to enjoy the surrounding sand the forest

    Day 6 Peace Route

    Very early in the morning Transfer to Perquin town in the mountains of Morazan, in the north east of the country, where was in tensely lived the conflict in the 80s. Visit a precious treasure recognized as National Heritage and considered El Salvador’s main cave painting the Corinto Caveor Holy Spirit Cave, the War Museum, that keeps that part of history of our country and the natural surroundings of Rio Sapo.
     

    Day 7La Bermuda Suchitoto

    Breakfast, departure to La Bermudan, an archaeological site representing first location of the Salvadorean capital of San Salvador. San Salvador was established here in 1528, while the Conquest was still in progress. This site is one of the best preserved Conquest period Spanish sites in the hemisphere.

    Later, visit Suchitoto, in Nahuatl Place of Bird and Flower. It seems that this colonial style city fall sleep at the (made with its mud-brick structure houses and international cuisine. The hotel sarenoted for their charmand beauty, proof of this is Los Almendros de San Lorenzo and La Posada de Suchitlan. Boat trip at long the Suchitlan Lake included.

    Day 8Transfer Out

    Three hours before flight departure to the Handicraft Market of San Salvador to make the last shopping of the voyage.

    Transfer to Airport of El Salvador. Have a nice trip!
