The private itinerary normally includes accommodations, airport transfers, private ground transportation, local guides, entrance fees and the activities confirmed in your proposal.

The ATM Cave experience is physically demanding. It includes a jungle walk, several stream crossings, a short swim and movement across wet, uneven cave terrain.

Travelers must be able to swim and should feel comfortable with prolonged physical activity in a humid environment. Anyone with mobility limitations, certain medical conditions or concerns about enclosed spaces should discuss them before booking.

A less demanding cave or archaeological experience can be arranged when ATM Cave is unsuitable.

Yes. Tikal can be visited as a full-day trip from the Cayo District. The journey travels overland to the Belize–Guatemala border and continues through the Petén region to Tikal National Park.

Martsam coordinates the private transportation and practical border arrangements. Travelers remain responsible for carrying a valid passport and meeting the entry requirements applicable to their nationality.

This itinerary returns to the Cayo District after the Tikal visit. Expect an early departure, considerable road travel and a full day away from the lodge.

The day begins with an early private road transfer from the Cayo District toward Orange Walk. From the New River landing, you continue by boat through tropical river and wetland habitats to Lamanai.

After the guided archaeological visit, return by boat and continue by private vehicle to your hotel near Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport.

This is a full travel and exploration day. The overnight stay near the airport removes the pressure of combining Lamanai with an international departure.

December through April generally offers drier conditions and is often preferred for archaeological sites, forest trails and cave activities.

Belize’s wetter season usually extends from June through November. Travel remains possible, but heavy rain or elevated river levels may affect ATM Cave, the New River journey or other outdoor experiences.

The best period depends on your priorities, tolerance for rain and preferred travel dates. We monitor local conditions and discuss suitable alternatives when an activity cannot operate safely.

Belize can be visited with careful planning, but no destination is free from risk. Official advisories recommend increased caution because of crime, with stronger warnings applying to particular areas of Belize City.

This itinerary uses prearranged private transportation between the airport, hotels and archaeological sites. It does not require independent sightseeing in Belize City.

The itinerary can be adapted for families, but suitability depends on the children’s ages, swimming ability, stamina and comfort with longer road journeys.

ATM Cave is the most physically demanding experience. Caracol, Tikal and Lamanai also involve early departures and full days of travel and exploration.

Share the children’s ages and any mobility or activity concerns when requesting the tour. We can adjust the pace, choose suitable accommodations and replace ATM Cave with a more appropriate experience when necessary.

Yes. This is a private itinerary, so the number of nights, hotel category, daily pace and included experiences can be adjusted.

You may add more time in the Cayo District, stay overnight in Guatemala after visiting Tikal or extend the journey to Placencia, Ambergris Caye or another coastal destination.

We can also replace ATM Cave, reduce longer travel days or adapt the route around family and mobility needs. Your final itinerary will reflect your dates, interests and preferred travel pace.
