    Day 1Arrival – Antigua Guatemala

    Meet and greet at La Aurora International Airport and transfer to the City of Antigua Guatemala, (1 hour).

    Day 2Cultural Walking Tour In Antigua Guatemala

    After breakfast, you will enjoy a tour through the villages around Antigua Guatemala; where they will learn their history through ruined buildings, live culture and the incomparable view.
    In this cultural tour you will visit: San Juan El Obispo (The first bishop in Guatemala founded by Francisco Marroquín), San Pedro Las Huertas, Ciudad Vieja (home of Guatemala’s former second capital, which was buried by an earthquake-triggered mudslide in 1541), experimental Organic Macadamia Farm, Santiago Zamora women´s cooperative and San Antonio Aguas Calientes.

    The Santiago Zamora cooperative is women´s association especially focuses on showing to tourists their local daily activities at home.
    The presentations begin with a demonstration of the local textiles you will learn how to form the threads until use the backstrap loom and get the final textile.

    Learn how to do a cup of coffee from the seed to the cup. Dance local music with the women´s. At the end enjoy a nice local food “pepian” made of many local species and they add pork, beef or chicken.

    Afternoon cultural tour in Antigua Guatemala, an effortless walking experience through the ruins, museums, monasteries, markets, art galleries and plazas of this colonial city.

    Day 3Chichicastenango – Lake Atitlan

    After breakfast, around 8:00 a.m. we will head to Chichicastenango (2.5 hours) to enjoy the multicolored ethnic market, where the scent of incense and the people’s mysticism promises a unique atmosphere, bargaining of prices, and a church with mixed Mayan and Catholic traditions.

    This is a market that every Thursday and Sunday appears and disappears as one of the ancient commercial traditions of the Guatemalan highlands and that now delights the visitors.

    In the afternoon, transfer to Panajachel. (1 hour)

    Day 4Lake Atitlan

    A day tour in Lake Atitlan to live an immersion into the Tzutujil Mayan people, its markets, traditions, spiritualism, and beliefs.

    After we finish our visit in these beautiful villages, transfer back to the hotel.

    Day 5Iximche – Flight to Flores

    In the morning visit Iximche in Tecpán. Iximché was a Maya Cakchiquel city founded in 1463, less than a century before the arrival of the Spaniards, which played a decisive role in the Spanish conquest of this region of Guatemala. Then continue to Guatemala City airport to take your flight to Flores, Peten.

    Day 6Tikal National Park

    After breakfast, we depart for Tikal National Park, where you will be guided along the paths of the City of the Voices, Tikal, which is one of the most beautiful Mayan sites and a unique open-laboratory of flora and fauna, representative of the tropics.

    Day 7Yaxha National Park

    Today you will board our bus and head towards Yaxha National Park. The series Survivor-The Mayan Empire was filmed in this beautiful Maya city.

    Yaxha is located on the banks of the Yaxha Lake; here we will walk through their causeways, temples and plazas, while learning about the fantastic Mayan history.

    In the afternoon, return to the airport to take the return flight to Guatemala City.

    Day 8 Back Home

    Breakfast and transfer to the airport on time to catch the international flight.
